Coyote Sightings-two Weeks Ago

See the coyotes all the time.

Bout a year ago by Wasabi was crossing the street and he was at the other light crossing (yes seriously he walked across the crosswalk and disappeared behind the office park).

A little less than that saw one by Applebees and the movie theatre. Actually saw him from the freeway he was walking along the fence on the shopping side.

Most recently have sighted two by ARC North over the last 3 months, one being on the bike trail five feet in front of me just a block from Oak Avenue.

2 nights ago headed to Winco, I saw a large deer cross Blue Ravine Road between Riley and Prairie City (actually before I got to Russo). And I mean good size when I say large.
It was dark and I never got a good headlight shot on it, but I would guess it to be a male and that come this summer, he would grow a 4 point or better rack on him.
I would rather be Backpacking

Wow. I have only seen a deer (doe) once in Folsom. Racoons, Coyotoes, possums. No mountain lions. No Bucks.
