I agree that writing an obit for a child would be hard. I'm sure I would cry through the whole thing. But I at least know I will never regret not telling my children how much I love them. They hear it everyday, multiple times typically. They get hugs & kisses before going to school and before going to bed every night. The same is true with my parents as well. Not a single phone call ends without us saying I love you to each other.

I truly don't understand why some people are uncomfortable expressing their love with their family.

One of the most important aspects/ emotions of living life, and sharing the world... knowing what it is to feel love, be loved, and show love. I firmly believe that. My wife and I have raised our kids the same way. And in knowing love, one behaves with respect, courtesy, and compassion.
