It’s a reminder not to judge a book by its cover and that sheer magic can come from people in all kind of packages (bodies).

I so agree...I saw this in the last posts, but it deserves another look! I think it was awesome that the judges were honest and I wish the lady all the best!

So glad you posted this again.....it was so refreshing to see those judges shamed by their first impressions and made to see how unfair they are when judging by appearances only.

I cried when I heard Susan sing because she had had this talent all her life, yet had never been given a chance.

Her voice is wonderful, and I only hope that fame doesn't ruin her life, with all that comes with it.

That would be a shame for such a sweet, sweet person.

Thanks....

I HOPE I TAKE THIS LESSON AND APPLY IT IN MY LIFE! GOD HAS MADE EACH OF US IN HIS IMAGE AND WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE SOMEONE'S WORTH.

Isn't this something most people already do? Why are we all so impressed by a homely looking person that can sing well, it's not like it's all that uncommon.

I'm still not sure what all the hoopla is about.

"Wow, you're so ugly we didn't think you could sing"???

I personally expect ugly people to be more talented, since they can't simply rely on their looks, instead.

Now, talented and good looking, well, then you'd be famous.

Hoopla? Well, I would say because she did it on national TV in front of Simon.

But from my personal experience, I would bet that you could go to any church and listen to their choir and find a person with similar talent. I don't think I've ever attended a church that didn't have at least one person in the choir with an amazing voice.
I would rather be Backpacking

Andrew Lloyd Webber composition "Whistle Down The Wind" is Boyle's next song selection for Britain's Got Talent.

Combined both items as one.
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

It's happened before on Britian's got talent.

Remember Paul Potts from a couple of years ago?
