Yeah, IIRC they're aiming for 11:30pm closing!

Their website says M-TH 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Fr-Sat, 11:00 AM to 12:30 AM, Sunday closed.

So Friday and Sat nights they are shooting for 1/2 hour past midnight. I might have to get my master to pick me up a midnight snack this weekend. Do you think if I start howling when the fireworks are going off my master will realize I'm asking for a bratwurst, hold the bun?

YUM. Unfortunately, they were out of poppyseed buns. Delivery scheduled later today. Great dog, will try a burger soon.

But the best news? Once the menu's been hashed out and pared down, they are adding Italian Beefs! Life without giadiniera is boring. I can't wait!

If you're planning on heading down today, call ahead. They're having some electric breaker issues and power was in and out while I was there.

Just went to the place. It is FANTASTIC. Highly recommend you all give it a try.

We went there this evening for dinner. Excellent. I am glad we went. Top quality food, reasonable prices. The power problem is hopefully fixed. We picked up a menu for future reference.

I'm from Michigan and I love Coney Island Hot dogs. I am hoping these ones are similar.

We were there this evening around 8:20. Even though we arrived 10 min. before posted closing time, we were served graciously. Two more parties came in after 8:30 and they were welcomed whole-heartedly. Everything was YUM! We had three of our four kids w/us and they loved it. Potato salad was delish. It wasn't sweet, though. If you like savory potatoe salad ( as I do), it was scrumptious. It tasted like maybe they make with a touch of sour cream. I had gthe Chicago dog. Perfect! My husband had the calibrese... he's Italian and Looooves Italian sausage. This one got the thumbs up. Two of the kids had corndogs. They liked! One had the kids' cheeseburger with the addition of chili. When I looked up to ask if he liked it, it was ... gone.

Great, friendly atmosphere. They're still working on the menu. Be sure to tell them what you like. They are looking at what to add and what works, what doesn't.

Five of us ate for under $30 including two beers, although all three kids did have kids' meals. Still, not bad!

You have to try this place. It's soooo good.

Pari.

Hello Parizienne,

It was myself and a friend that walked in after you. And yes as you mentioned, we were welcome even after the posted close time. The dogs were great and we will be back. From what I understand it was a banner day for their sales - good for them! From what I can see they definitely deserve it. I think I had the Brunch Dog mustard, ketchup, fried egg and bacon. YUM!!!

Aw man.... I always run into SOMEONE when I have no makeup on. Isn't that always the way? Lol...

I do remember seeing you. Just before you guys came in, the girl behind the counter was saying that they were $10 short of a record. Then you two came in and I thought, "Cool! They're certainly going to hit a new high." I also heard you pondering the brunch dog. Glad to hear it was a winner!

Yay! I've never actually seen another MyFolsomite (other than two whom I know personally).

Pari.

Do you know if they have anything besides hot dogs? Is there such a thing as a vegie-dog? Do they have turkey or chicken-dogs? My husband loves real hot dogs, but if they don't have anything for me...I guess I'll just have to drink a beer and watch him eat!
