We do regularly distribute coupons, we had used the Gold Rush magaizne mailer regularly until they were no longer able to publish last month. Look for us in the money mailer currently and coming soon here to My Folsom smile.gif. Also we will accept any discount coupons issued by other Strings. Kim and I appreciate all the support we have received and hope to be able to continue returning to the community we love.

Brian

I have known Brian for a number of years and he pours his heart into this community. I've seen him support so many clubs and organizations and never ask anything in return. This is a tough time for so many businesses and unfortunately the government will not be helping restaurants like Strings. It's up to us to keep them going so they can continue to offer the great dishes that we've all grown to love.
If you've not tried Strings, go you'll love it. If you have, thank you and keep going back.

Grazie mille e buon appetito

Kim and Brian, we will back again soon.

I would like to thank our regular customers and friends for coming in the past week to offer their support. We truly appreciate it. You will see Brian or I in there a lot more.

I would like to comment on some of the posts. The salad and the bread hasn't changed. We do have a new menu. The Strings Corporate Office changed the menu. A lot of the changes are due to the new nutrition facts that we need to provide to our customers. A lot of the entrees had so many different ingredients that they were having trouble breaking it down. If you have a favorite and do not see it on the menu please ask us or the server if it is still available. We have no problem making special requests.

I am sorry to hear about the close of another restaurant here in Folsom. This subject is obviously very close to my heart. We are lucky to have great landlords at this location. But this is also a slower part of town. We can look in the parking lot and see Red Robin struggling also. There parking lot use to be packed. There are so many dining options here in Folsom since we opened 8 years ago, but we hope that you continue to show your support.

thank you and please don't hestitate to call if you have any questions

The food is yummy, fair priced and Brian is great to work with. The patio is a great place for a group dinner, swim team, little league, soccer....Great service and catering too! Try it, you'll be glad you did.

We had dinner there this evening. I had Chicken Lombardy. They were gracious about substituting extra veggies for the pasta on the side. Ooooh it was sooooo goooood! My husband was Jonesing for a sausage calzone which wasn't on the menu. He ordered the meat lover's calzone without the onions and peppers. They were really good about accommodating our preferences. WE LOVE STRINGS!

Brice, our waiter, was attentive and very helpful. It's hard to find service like this nowadays!

Does Strings have gluten free pasta? I have a friend who can't have wheat and tomatoes which makes Italian food a hard thing. .. looking for more options when we eat out.
Thanks

I had a customer today that eats gluten free, but not 100%. She asked if she could bring in a pasta and make something special for her. I told her that would not be a problem. We are looking into gluten free items. I am not all that educated on these products. If anyone has any suggestions, we are open to them.

thank you and thank you all for your support!

We've gone to OSF because they have gluten free pasta and the mizithra cheese with butter that she can have. I hate dining alone and when I dine out it is usually with my Bible Study and we stick to BJs and OSF because they are safe. I'm trying to look at options to support your restaurant and have been following this thread but only participated in the thread last night. Thanks.

Thank you, we will look into that with our supplier or on our own. I do know we have Chicken breast that is gluten free. But that doesn't sound very exciting.

The OSF has corn-based GF pasta, which would actually be worse for some.
If Strings had rice-based GF pasta, I believe my family would visit more often.

My husband bought some GF pasta today at Raleys and was testing a dish w/ olive oil, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, peppers and tomatoes. I will have to check on the corn base or rice base.

Can I get the NEW
QUOTE
Prawn & Sausage Fusilli
Sausage & prawns with bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives sauteed in a spicy tomato sauce tossed with fusilli noodles.
without the bell peppers?

I like spicy peppers, but I hate the taste of bell peppers (I call them green ickies).
