Asbestoshills, sorry to hear you have been somewhat close to so many cancer victims.

but it reminds me of something that I heard 20+ years ago.

Where I worked we use to use a lot of Freon (not the kind in your air conditioners, but a chloroflorocarbon none the less), it's fairly inert substance. I remeber hearing one of the assemblers while on break puffing away heavily on her cigarette asking if anyone knew how carcinogenic the Freon might be. I couldn't help but laugh. If you're that worried about Freon & cancer, you might consider kicking that nasty smoking habit which has been proven to cause lung cancer.
I would rather be Backpacking

I have 3 friends fighting cancer right now. One is in L.A, one in San Jose, and one in Dublin. Oh, wait, I guess that wasn't your point, huh.

I work in Rancho Cordova, and in my department, we have probably 400 employees. In my five years there, I can only count maybe three employees with cancer, and no death that I know of. I drink the tap water there everyday because I am too lazy to go downstairs and get a glass out of the filtered water machine. So far, so good. I'm still alive.
