John, you got scooped!

I can't tell who's actually faux-famous and who's just good looking.

I may be a bit out of date, but isn't $13 for a movie a bit high these days? Aren't going rates normally $10-10.50?

Hey, myfolsomites,
Here is a tip you probably don't know.
If you rate and comment on a video, youtube likes that and it gives the video a boost and they promote it, leading to more viewers.

Or maybe you do know that and thing all my videos suck!

So, like retailers say, If you like what you see, tell your friends and give us 5 stars.
If you don't like it, tell us (and don't vote LOL)

Maybe the previous comment about the solar power was right, because our theater was freezing through out the whole movie. Obviously the heaters were not working yet. As a standard ticket holder, I was disappointed in the experience. Guess you had to be a VIP. Anyway, I am glad the money went for a good cause. I hope they put it to good use.

Very nice to be drinking a bottle of Lockdown Red while watching a movie.

That won't likely happen again.

I was a bit surprised that there was a "VIP" thing and a "general public" thing - IMO they could have/should have done more to accomodate the general public. I heard the event was oversold - hopefully nobody was turned away. I think they didn't expect such a large turnout...

Why not? It's pretty easy to get booze into the theater.

we saw Christmas Carol on Friday. heaters were definately working then! very warm. interesting visually, but dark movie!! man, its the holidays, what's Disney thinking these days? theater impressions, nice overall. parking is terrible. I think they are going to have a hard time keeping the lobby carpet looking good. wish the concession stand sold coffee drinks, like the theater in Roseville. arm rests on the chairs were a little narrow too, but not uncomfortable. nice addition to Folsom. we bought gift certificates for christmas presents too. we'll be back.

by the way, its $13 for the 3D movies and $10.50 for regular movies. the extra $2.50 probably pays for the glasses, which made it a pretty cool experience.

Took the wife to see the Sandra Bullock movie on Friday night. Avoided the new theater and went to EDH cause I expected it to be dead and the new theater packed. Ended up only front row seating available so we decided to check out the new theater just in case. No line, nobody in the lobby, movie maybe 3/4's full if that. I was shocked. On saturday my family went in the morning and same thing.

Review. Price was 10.25 so thats normal. I hated, HATED the ticket stubs. Hard to read and crappy mini piece of paper. I never would of dreamed that I could care about a ticket stub but they actually annoyed the crap out of me. As for the snack bar and lobby... nothing disappointing or spectacular. Movie screen we were at was large and seats were comfortable. Screen was incredibly clear. More-so then EDH.

Overall its just another theater. I was kind of hoping for something amazing to happen like a red carpet levitates you into your theater from the lobby or something but nodda. I guess there isn't much more you could really do to a theater aside from add beer sales smile.gif

Mall looks absolutely amazing. Hats off to Elliott Homes...

I bet the 3-D should be pretty awesome in the all digital screens.

I wonder if my son is ready for A Christmas Carol, he's seen other PG rated movies, but this might be a bit too scary for him.

Maybe we should just see a 2-D version of Planet 51 this weekend.
I would rather be Backpacking

Planet 51 was really sucky. I took 4 girls and I think we laughed maybe once. There was also alot of adult humor that the 10 year olds that I took totally caught onto (completely inappropriate). If I remember correctly, your son is pretty young so he might not catch the adult humor, but the storyline is pretty lame.

My now 11 year old daughter found parts of the Christmas Carol a bit frightening. She saw it twice, but the first time she was a little caught off guard.
