I'm not saying light rail is the root of all evil, but, to be fair, where you live is quite a trek from any Folsom light rail station.

Crime solved!!!

Do you have a problem believing that certain types of crimes are perpetuated by persons based on demographics, circumstances, and available resources?
If so, you should probably consult with Folsom PD's one and only crime analyst. She is great with mapping out crime and analysing data.
Oh, wait...the city is considering laying her off.....
Nevermind...keep on with nyour blindly, insulting insiduendoes and obscene attacks of character based on god only knows whats up your craw, today.

Last year someone got into my unlocked truck and took my prescription sunglasses. This just pissed me off to no end and I probably blamed everybody from Obama to my Ex.
I really am sorry and would encourage you to avoid wasting time looking for things for sale on CL. Just let it go and do something that makes you happy.
At least there weren't any Bologna/Mayo n Egg sandwiches lying around this time.

I leave my car unlocked!! Secretly wishing someone would steal it!!! HAHAHA. I always forget and do not have auto locks on my car. I try to not keep anything in my car of value. It just makes for a very easy target.
The only time I made a regular practice of this is when I was in the military and living in barracks. I kept all my valuables in their because atleast if they were stolen from my car I could claim it on some type of insurance. However, one time my car was broken into eventhough all my valuables were hidden. They ransacked it and just took my id and credit cards. I had $400 in cash, cell phone, camera, huge book of cds, cd player, portable cd player, jewelry and other expensive items all left. They were probably military and did not want any evidence linking them to the crime. Originally, I thought they took the cash. However, I found it in the paper mess from my bag which they left on the floor.

Dude, just go away...really...
BTW, there is an attitude that is prevalent in Hawai'i where you leave your car unlocked and your windows down as if to say "there isn't anything in here anyway". That is my way of doing it.

Agree that Chip/smartass should just go away...
Also agree , especially if you have a soft top to leave the door unlocked otherwise you are looking at some pretty hefty costs to get it replaced. I also leave my doors unlocked often as I have nothing inside to steal except some dog treats and partially consumed water bottles and maybe a few items in the trunk ...
CW- sorry to hear of your losses- especially since you are so close to our street -
Another great day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

It is not a matter of hiding him - it is good for everyone to vent at his outrageous posts...

This all happened late at night. Since light rail doesn't start in Folsom until 5 am or so, seems kind of dumb to blame it on light rail. A thief doesn't want to be sitting at the light rail station with all his ill-gotten gains waiting for his getaway.
