Can I suggest for stocking stuffers that you go by the Folsom History Museum on Sutter Street and pick up the 2006 Folsom History calendars? The museum also has other little items that might be good ideas for stocking stuffers, and it's for a great cause.

Wednesday-Sunday is the best time to shop the Historic District.

If you go to Sutter Street the First Friday of the month, you'll find stores open until 9:00 p.m. Galleries, art studios, gift shops, restaurants, antique stores are staying open and hosting special events for Foothill Friday (music, new art, etc.)

Check out Foothill Friday website to locate businesses in Folsom and El Dorado Hills that are participating in this new effort (my company smile.gif ): www.foothillfriday.com
