Your comments were not out of context, but the entire story was. That's what happens when you get your information from Fox "News". She was telling a story and making a point that seems to be totally lost on many.

There's no dirty trick here. There was no intention of bringing Obama into this topic.

The fact is, nobody had the complete tape to determine what the woman totally said. The NAACP could have provided that tape and instead, they sold her down the river. Obama could have asked for the situation to be investigated, but instead, he too acted stupidly and sold her down the river. Obama and the NAACP acted of their own without any public input. They are the ones who have to be held accountable for their actions, not anyone else.

And, as far as this woman being a racist, she still used language "one of his own kind", which if used by a white person, would be determined to be racist. The fact that she thinks she is not racists and learned her lesson, is her opinion, period. We don't have to take her word for it.

And, although some of you lefty's may not like the fact that Obama is in the hot seat these days...he put himself there. Just as Bush placed himself into a situation where his popularity went south.

Like it or lump it....those are the facts.

Let me state one simple fact - this isn't the first time you've peddled such falsehoods...hide all you can behind the wordsmithy...

At least be true enough to what you are preaching and give the lady enough respect to call her by her name.

My false judgment didn't get her fired from her job. And I agree, I judged her falsely at first. I still have a problem with the fact that the audience of the NAACP laughed when she told her story, and shouted words of agreement at her acting in a racist way, before she became enlightened.

As a private person just watching the news, it is not my responsibility to check up on the facts before I judge her. I am not a news reporter nor an investigator, nor do I get paid as if I were.

BUT, IT IS the responsibility of those who have the power to fire her to check the facts, now isn't it?????

(This is a failure to turn the quilt around from those who actually impacted her life, to those of us who are merely watching. Sad.)
