I'm with you. I definitely would rather replace "active content" with "last 24 hours" wherever possible. I also do not see the value of a "members" tab - it's pretty useless when you have 6000 members.

I like the app. I would like to see more coupons. Also I don't like that they expire. Traffic alerts/information would be cool. A "today's events" section would be nice. Do you have the ability to push notifications? I would like to get breaking news alerts. I know they don't happen all the time, but it would be nice to be proactively notified of a major accident or other critical time sensitive information.

Yeah. I'd love a push for breaking news, and for PMs.

There are notification options for mobile - go to settings > notifications. Options galore - email, mobile, web, etc...
As far as a push for news/traffic alerts - best I could suggest is an RSS alert on your email,. I can't make your iPhone alert you when there's a traffic problem; but I can bring it up to my developer!
