Sorry your Raiders lost their Super Bowl in the preseason against the Niners a couple of weeks ago. Please bring us all up to date on the "greatness of the Raiduhs."

As far as predictions go, let me break out a little old school Mr. T for all foes of the Niners: PAIN!

As Tony Montana once said, "Let me introduce you to my little friend"... Jahvid Best, rookie of the year.

Bay Area sports both suck and blow.

When is SoCal getting an NFL team? Well, I guess they psuedo have one in USC, although being on probation, banned from the postseason and considered an outlaw program is no way to go through a football season... or three.

And, how are the Dodgers doing? Yeah, not so well.

Hmm Let's see,

Topic Title: NFL2010
Sub Title: Predictions, hopes, & dreams?

albeit extremely concise, it seems plain to me he was asking for people to post their predictions, hopes and dreams for the NFL 2010 season.

I'm not sure how else to interpret his topic title and sub-title.

Oh I see. I was reading this earlier on the mobile version of the forums. Sub topic didnt show for me.

And there you have it folks.

A Niner fan banking their entire season on the results of a preseason game.

I do agree with tgianco on one thing though, SoCal teams are lame. Actually SoCal in general is lame.

Raiders suck! Niner's rule! SoCal was a great place to grow up(a long time ago) and sucks now. USC rules! Lakers Rule! UCLA basketball used to rule and John Wooden was the greatest coach of anything, in history! Can't wait for the responses to this!

Farve won't make it thru the entire season, no way. He'll be injured for sure. That was a tough game for Minn though, on the road, Superbowl champs. Minn looks just OK while I see the Saints having a really good season. Drew Brees is really a damn good QB.

Well it appears Detroit was on the losing end of ANOTHER horrible call by the umps. Recall the perfect baseball game blown on the LAST play of the game earlier this year where the ump admitted he blew the call. Now they score a perfectly legitimate TD to win the game but the on field call of TD is over-ruled because he didn't finish the "process" of the catch? Process? When did they start this non-sense?

What a joke! I saw plenty of questionable TD's today and the Lion's one was way more real. So sad they chose to keep using Detroit as a punching bag but they will be back. Hopefully Stafford will get healthy soon.

Shaun Hill is not and has not ever been the answer anywhere.

Rather than a horrible call, it is a horrible rule. He got both feet down while controlling the ball. That used to be the standard, and it made sense. That would make it a touchdown. Now you have to finish the process of catching it. It's a stupid rule, but the call was right.

Agree So. Cal isn't what it used to be that's "fer shuur" (moon unit zappa reference) and just about all the So. Cal teams do stink up the joint. UCLA and USC have lost most of their swagger, L.A is definately a Laker town, plain and simple, no doubt about it. But SD Chargers will make some noise this year and if they can get their K Kaeding to make just one meaningful field goal in the playoffs, you could see SD in Super Bowl. As for the Raiders and 49ers. UGH! I didn't think SF could look so bad after all the talk about winning the NFC West and blah, blah, blah. The play calling in Sunday's first qtr was horrendous and shows Singletary is more of a defensive coordinator than a head coach. Raiders, well as long as Al is the coach...eehr Owner, general partner, whatever the heck he calls himself, Raider will be terrible. Cable as a coach, puhleease. Niners will fall to 0-2, sorry but New Orleans is the class of the NFC and that Monday night game will not be close, unless SF controls the clock and starts moving the chains. Oakland will win 5 games. SF will win 7 or 8.

On a more upbeat note, HOW ABOUT OUR GIANTS, tied for first and the dreaded Dodgers coming to town. Now is the time. GO GIANTS

New sign at the 49ers office:

QUARTERBACK WANTED - WILL CONSIDER TRADES

Boy the 9ers sucked yesterday especially after doing so well in the pre-season and the first play interception. Sunday was a sad, sad afternoon. :(
