I guess it's still not very well-known since they haven't even had their grand opening yet.

Pluses: Good drinks, enthusiastic owners, good service, plasma screen for the Kings game, and a great jazz band, L'attitudes.
Minuses: The beef skewers with bell pepper and onion would have been better without the beef, which was tough and pretty flavorless. The calamari was neither good nor bad. The aioli it came with was not good. (The lunch I had there was much better)
Larry, one of the owners, was very gracious, talkative, and proud.
All in all, it was a fun time, with a great atmosphere, and good music. Folsom needs it. I'll do my best to keep it in business.

As with any new restaurant; they had some hurdles to overcome since opening in December. We personally believe this is going to be one of the local "hot spots" for both dining and dancing. While the food was fairly good when they first opened; they have recently acquired one of our favorite chef's; ("T" formerly of Bailies) which has made an ENORMOUS difference in the quality, variety, and flavors. We dine out at least 3 nights a week and since the food and entertainment gets better and better-we can be found there (usually) for all 3! They have live music Thursday through Sunday; a big screen TV directly at the bar and visible from the main dining area; they clear out the front dining area after 10pm to make room for bands and dancing on the weekends; AND they are open late for all the late night folks who get the midnight munchies on Fri/Sat eve's. They have a great staff; awesome bartenders and the owners are very accommodating and sociable, as well as VERY interested in the public's input and suggestions. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. On a scale of 1-10 we give it a 9.5 with the ".5" being dedected for the fact that it can sometimes get a bit noisy due to the interior design and high ceilings. If you have not been back in recent months you need to go back and try them again. The new chef has added all the missing parts. In addition, they have a great dining menu as well as an extended variety bar menu. TWO THUMBS up to the owners!
PS...we were there last night and had the best Salmon and Halibut we've ever had!

Not sure what kind of music you play but you should call Larry at the restaurant at 351-5888. Maybe we will get to hear your music there someday?

We had the special for the evening which was Filet Mignon with a Chardonnay Mushroom Sauce. It was fantastic!
The Wine selection is decent, just wish there was more representation in the Zinfandel section from Amador's great producers.
We will definately be back!

Don't forget....Thurs through Friday they have live music. Thursday and Sunday is usually a single artist who plays mello soft hits; or jazz and Fri/Sat is more DJ and live band....
I am happy to announce that our favorite chef has just been promoted to EXECUTIVE CHEF (the original chef is gone.....) which is most likely why your meal was so good!
maybe we will see ya there sometime!
