I liked it for all the choices. If your son is picky I would suggest a rice bowl filled with only things he likes.OK, has anyone eaten at Freshii?
My wife wants to go there for dinner tonight. I find the menu confusing for one.
Two, I'm not sure what my son would want from there.
Can you just get a bunch of crap on the side?
Any help before I go there is appreciated.
They have wraps on the menu that already have certain ingredients or you can decide exactly what you want in the wrap.
The staff was very helpful when they saw we were trying to figure things out.

The menu offers a variety of wraps, salads and soups, all prepared from free-range meats and fish and organically-grown fruits and vegetables and cheese.
It sounds interesting, and possibly even good. I will probably check it out.
I disagree though that "popped" chips would be considered a "health" food. I don't think the calorie or fat content is that much different for popped vs baked or even regular chips.... The other thing, when I think "fast food" I think drive thru.

My son is actually a pretty good eater, but he's not so good when it comes to salad dressings.I liked it for all the choices. If your son is picky I would suggest a rice bowl filled with only things he likes.

If they had thousand Island, it would be a no brainer. If I can just get a plate of veggies, he'll scarf on avocado, celery, carrots, babycorn, etc. I don't know how he will do with the texture of brown rice, he'll scarf on white rice.
We'll try it and see how it goes.

If the chips aren't slathered in oil and salt, then they shouldn't be any worse than a baked potato with nothing on it. Depending on how much complex carbs you want, it still may be too high in calorie for your preference, but it is far healthier than the tasty oily and salty ones.It sounds interesting, and possibly even good. I will probably check it out.

Did you try it? I thought about it tonight too, but ended up at Jack's instead.

Yes I did and it was not a good experience. If I ever return, I will just do a make it yourself salad.Did you try it? I thought about it tonight too, but ended up at Jack's instead.
Things that went wrong.
One, ordered 4 items for a family of 3, items came out at 4 different times, people that entered after we had first item were served before we got the rest of our items.
Two, we tried "chef created items", the soup that we ordered was described in the menu has having noodles. They brought it to us with rice in it, no noodles. Had to return it to get it made right.
Three, one of the soup ingredients was bean sprouts, I think I found 3 bean sprouts, I think for a soup it had more noodles than it did liquid. But I did expect much more than 3 bean sprouts in a soup that is supposed to have bean sprouts.
Four, I did not like their noodles one bit, too something, too al dente I guess.
5ive, the noodle bowl also was very heavy on the same noodles I found I didn't like in the soup. Not much meat, not much of any of the other ingredients it was supposed to have. Peanut sauce was OK, but not great.
The only good thing we had was the salad. Although it seemed skimpy on the dressing.
If I go again, I'll bring my own dressing and just order a custom made salad.
Oh, the other good thing, the spice lemon grass broth the soup was made with tasted good, but the rest of the make-up of the soup had a lot to be desired, the mushrooms were raw, and it was almost all noodles.
My son ordered the chicken teriyaki noodle bowl off the kids menu, it was edible, but it was the poorest excuse for teriyaki sauce.
Someone noted on hear that their advertisement is about being green with no reference to taste, well now I understand why.

The ordering process was a bit intimidating to me - there were a lot of choices to build your custom order. We wound up getting a pre-built dish. I'm not an expert of food but the food I got was fine. We got the 'Asian noodles' - the peanut sauce was a bit hot (spicy) than we liked.
It would probably be something we would try again but doubt would it would make it into our regular rotation.

I dont give a crud about being GREEN, I just like the Healthier side of eating out.. OHHH and Chris loved it too... and he is known for only liking Turkey Sammach's :D
Plus the 2 yr old and the 11 yr old ate the HECK out'a it.
They were SUPER HELPFUL when ordering, and it is neat the way the DO the ordering... kinda fun really.
A++ Freshii. Will be back for sure!

There were a total of 3 workers, one who was older than the others & seemed to be in charge (the owner?). The younger male worker was very busy watching the big screen TV, so he standing around & not doing anything,...I think he was a trainee, he watched the older guy put together the food. The girl who handled the orders & cash register, disappeared behind the closed door when her work was done.
The service was VERY slow. I don't understand how it takes so long to put together a meal with pre cut food.
As it turned out, the wrap had a delicious flavor, but was drowned in dressing. I did like it that the wrap was grilled. The salad was bland AND drowned in dressing. I think they have a good idea, but are still in need of much fine tuning. How long have they been open now? And they still haven't worked out the details.....They do have a nice, shaded, private patio.
If I go back, I will order from the big specialty board.

I also think that for a "green" restaurant, you could just tell them what you want to order instead of writing it down on a piece of paper. I also can't stand their impossible to open clamshell containers! I wish if you were eating inside, the least they could do is not snap it shut in an impossible container!
I suppose I am not their target deomographic though - my wife is!

I much prefer Jack's. If my wife wants Freshii, I get Rubios and meet her outside.
