Did they come back home last night or stay in the LA area. Did the team
go down my bus?

I thought the article said they went to Disneyland today.

One of the fans flashed a "WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND" sign at the end of the game.

Seems appropriate to me. Hope they get a break in the weather and have a good time.

They seemed to be in their element in the rain for the game! LOL And they won't have to roll in the mud at Disneyland.

I can not believe that Comcast or someone pulled the plug with 2-3 minutes left in the game. I didn't
get to see the final couple of minutes. Folsom was on the one yard line when they pulled it.
They won 48-20. Congrats on a MAJOR WIN... When and where is the parade??

Camay, they traveled by bus on Friday and most of the team & families stayed for Disneyland today.
They are an amazing group of young men and have certainly worked hard to earn the accolades.
State Champs, indeed.
Here's the first couple of minutes of Episode 2 from BULLDOGS: the series --

What wonderfully horrible field conditions. Five games in two days on a soaked field built for soccer. They still put up 48. Amazing!
When's the next parade?

I was reading the article in the Sunday Bee last night and found out the scumbags the Bulldogs beat had tried to cheat. They had to delay the game and send the other team back into the locker room to take off their illegal 3/4 inch cleats and put on their legal 1/2 inch cleat shoes. That was no "mistake", they deliberately tried to cheat to win. The article didn't say if any punishments would happen, but I would think there should be some kind of reprimand action taken as a result of that attempt to cheat.Folsom ended up ranked as the 5th best team in the entire country. Congratualtions to some fine young men.

We have all heard about it, but I can't say that I agree with punishment if much. None of the articles say who or how many of the players did so or if they were directed to do so or did so on their own. It was recognized and Coach Richardson was offered the forfeit win by the officials, which he immediately refused.
Their is certainly a lesson in character to be learned, but punishing the future players at Serra seems inappropriate and to the Folsom players the outcome says all they need to....SCOREBOARD!!

I agree, future players shouldn't be punished for actions they weren't a part of. The article said the team was sent back so I interpreted it as the whole team had 3/4 inch cleats on. I also feel, if it was only a few players, then a forfeit wouldn't have been offered, but maybe ejection from the game for the few that tried. I don't know if the team made the decision to cheat unbeknownst to their coach, or if the coach told them to, but I think someone should find that out. If the coach is guilty, he should get reprimanded, like a written warning in his personnel file if he does that again, he's fired. If the team did it, I don't know, maybe banning the team from participating in graduation ceremonies. Or banning the players from being on the baseball team, or making them come to Folsom High and clean up the trash from the school grounds. I just hate it when cheaters are allowed to get off scot-free, as it only encourages them to try to cheat again. We have all heard about it, but I can't say that I agree with punishment if much.
