Family tried it last weekend and it was very good burgers and sitting out on the patio just confirms why we all live in (or near) Folsom.

As to bacon...Jolene is spot on and it is one thing that has to change. Adding bacon is a buck and it is microscopic Its there but you have to really, really look for it. For $1 I expect to see two decent slices of bacon (Applewood smoked, Hickory) across the top or similar. There is another burger place that adds a round Canadian bacon-ish bacon on a burger that wasnt right either.

Service very good. Professional, polite and helpful
Burgers very good especially for price and even more so when considering free add ons like mushrooms, onions, peppers that others charge extra for. Tried several add ons and all good EXCEPT the bacon. Had I spoken up to the mgr/owner who was to his credit checking in with customers, I am certain he would have taken note of it. Will mention on next trip.
Fries; had the natural fries and crisp outside, soft inside and amount was enough for 3 of us.
Ambiance: Very clean inside and out. Super A/C during our visit which was nice for some but maybe too cold for non mountain blooded people. Water feature on patio and umbrellas are nice...tasty burgers and enjoyable outdoors eating.
Misc: Needs to serve milkshakes

I would compare this to The Habit and Johnny Rockets

Had the cheeseburger for lunch today, and I'm happy to report it was very good! We sat outside, and the water fountain was a nice touch.

I agree with almost everything you said here, but wanted to clarify something. I haven't been to The Habit, but I've been to Johnny Rockets twice and didn't like the food, service, or atmosphere either time. What do you think is similar about Johnny Rockets and Burgerocity?

Oh, and yes, they do need to serve milkshakes, but it's probably best for me if they don't :D:

Went today for a quick "to go" order...

The good:
The food was good. Burger was tasty. Fries were tasty!
Cost was reasonable. Under $10 for a "baby" heffer, fries, drink.
Staff was very friendly. Notable how everyone greeted you with a smile and friendly demeanor. :)

The bad:
I don't know if it was the lunchtime rush or what, but you walk in and you get an overpowering "grease smell" - maybe only I can smell it but it's not good. I hope they have more ventilation.
The fries were more than I needed! I ate like half and threw the rest out... I'd prefer a half-order. I enjoy a generous portion but that was wasteful IMO.
I agree, milkshakes are highly desired.

I picked up lunch from here today for me and three other coworkers. None of us were wowed by the food. The sweet potato fries were soggy and soft and they were fresh when I ate them.

The worst part was the ordering process. The employee was very friendly, it was just very difficult from the beginning when she kept cutting me off and then got somewhat comical:

Me: "I'd like a little heffer with cheddar, tomato, grilled onions, ranch, mushrooms and lettuce."
Her: "OK, so everything plus cheddar, grilled onions, ranch and mushrooms."
Me: "No, not everything, just cheddar, tomato, grilled onions, ranch, mushrooms and lettuce."
Her: "OK, all of our burgers come with everything unless you tell us what you don't want. I will add cheddar, grilled onions, ranch and mushrooms as extras on top of everything."
Me: "I don't know exactly what 'everything' is since I'm not in front of a menu, but I only want cheddar, tomato, grilled onions, ranch, mushrooms and lettuce."
Her: "Well, you'll have to tell me what items you don't want on there."
Me: "I don't want anything I didn't mention."
Her: "You'll have to tell me which of the 'everything' items you don't want."
Me: "As I said, I don't have a menu in front of me so I guess you're going to have to tell me what 'everything' is then."
Her: "How am I going to do that? It's just 'everything.'"
Me: "Tell me each item that's part of 'everything' and I'll tell you if I want it."
Her: "Oh, OK... "

She still got it wrong. The ticket on the bag wasn't exactly what I had ordered (wanted tomatoes, wasn't marked) and the burger didn't match what was on the ticket (said no mustard but had mustard).

I liked that it wasn't as greasy as Smashburger, but Smashburger was referenced by more than one as a better burger. Sad to say none of us think we'll go back.

That is HYSTERICAL and SAD. Oh, and I've had the exact same conversation somewhere... can't even remember where because I never went back.

It's just poor training, you could tell she was doing what she was told to do. Even when she read it back it wasn't "a little heffer with cheddar, tomato, grilled onions, ranch, mushrooms and lettuce" it was "a little heffer cheesburger with no mayo, no mustard, no ketchup, lettuce, no tomato, no onion, grilled onion, ranch... " and the like and she rattled it off very quickly. So quickly that I didn't catch that she said "no tomato." Poor way to do it, especially over the phone.

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh a little at your account of the conversation. How frustrating! The staff seemed very friendly too me, but maybe not rocket scientists...
I'm surprised your fries were soggy, mine were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like I like them:-) Obviously they need to work on their consistancy.

We tried it this week and didn't much care for it. Although the size of the little heffer was more than enough, and the free extras are nice (love shrooms on a burger), the flavor just wasn't there. I'm not a fan of overly salted food, but you do have to season the meat on a burger before you cook it. Why does this seem to be such a problem with a lot of places? They seem to put too much salt on most things, but when it comes to a burger patty, nada. Anyway, the bun was a bit stale as well and the garlic fries were decidedly lacking in garlic. Oh well, the search goes on. In the meantime, it's In-N-Out for a cheese burger and garlic fries from Jack's Urban Eats. (Now they make killer garlic fries!)

I reread my post and should clarify that it similar style as Smashburger, Johnny Rockets, and The Habit. It is better than the first two and close to the Habit. JRs didnt really wow me - it was ok.

Tried Burgerocity last week with the husband. I did not care for it. Husband liked it even less and will not return. Burgers didn’t have a pleasant taste. Plus as someone mentioned the fries were soggy. Bad overall experience and only experience.

I was there this afternoon. I had the nutburger. It is nothing like the Sunflower in Fair Oaks Village. It was basically flavorless. Even the sweet potato frys had what I would call "light" flavor, bordering on flavorless.

I had the nuttyburger yesterday and enjoyed the tastes of the spices in it, reminded me of Indian food. The sweet potato fries were good too, tasted great with just the natural flavor of the sweet potatoes, didn't need salt or anything else. I don't know how you could say they were flavorless.
