if anyone has been down south to la lately, you will see Folsom's future. Tons of strip mall stores, haircut places, pizza places, donut shops, cupcake shops, liquor stores, non-name brand dollar stores etc....If you want Folsom to look like this, just keep letting these stores flourish.
LA is fine, it's nice that everything is so conveniently located together. Folsom is destined to have these conveniences too whether you like them or not.
It's pretty sad when we have temporary Halloween stores and a bunch of Tuesday Morning type stores but no bookstore. I think Folsom is really letting in stores that are of little value to our community. How many of you like Steinmart, Tuesday Mornings or Wise Guys? I know I don't. How about a Macy's, Nordstrom or Hollister or APPLE store? How about a store that isn't just a Ross type store with semi-used items.
Do you think a Halloween store could be run year-round??
Like it or not, cheaper stores are popular when people are trying to save money.

some of the messiness comes from the folks that shop there. I have seen them grab things and just shove it back on the shelf. compare that with the shoppers at macy's or nordstroms where people look at a sweater and then nicely fold it up.Dollar store is great, but they have let the cleanliness go downhill! Stuff everywhere on the floors and it's filthy inside too. The 99cent store is better.

Um...no...People are messy everywhere. While I will give you that the dollar store looks worse but that stems from the fact that they cannot hire the staff to straighten and clean like Macy's can...people def do not neatly stack anything back in place. My years of retail and generally watching disgustingly rude people operate has lead me to believe that most people are sloppy and selfish.

Wise Buys is like the old Pic n Save of the '70's and 80's. Come to think of it are Pic n Saves still even around today? Probably not.
Pic n Save was bought by Big Lots oh, 10 years ago now...

Well, try living there if you like it so much. There's nothing convenient about driving an hour to anywhere IMHO.LA is fine, it's nice that everything is so conveniently located together. Folsom is destined to have these conveniences too whether you like them or not.

Perhaps you like the look of mini mart stores on every corner and stores that are here today and gone tomorrow, but they really hold little value for FOlsomites and they bring very low part-time jobs to Folsom. YEAH, for low income part-time jobs-not! If these stores want to hire full time people with benefits and give them a living salary, I say bring these businesses in, but that's rarely the case and you know it.
We have Ross and Marshals, how many more subpar stores do you need? Steinmart, House Goods, Tuesday Mornings, Wise Guys etc.....Too much crap in Folsom; bring in another Intel type company, but quit bringing in low quality companies.

I'm from LA, there's no need to drive an hour anywhere when everything is conveniently located nearby. Have you ever stayed more then a day in LA, or do you just like to talk smack about LA a lot because you have a stereo typical opinion of the people who live there?
Folsom already has the look of mini mart stores on every corner, ever been on E. Bidwell Street?
If you don't like the crap in Folsom why don't you move to EDH? ...and here all this time I thought you were Hispanic and could relate to people (like me too) who don't have a ton of money to waste at Macy's, Nieman Marcus and all those crappy over priced stores that charge $100 more then everything is worth.
I'll stick with Kohls, Ross and my other "sub-par" stores that help us poor folk save money.

Someone mentioned an Apple store. I 2nd that one. That would be a perfect addition to the Palladio!

Can an Apple store really get enough business to have such a small niche?Unfortunately with the economy the way it is, not everyone can shop at Macy's, Nordstrom or Hollister. Have you been to the Sunrise Mall lately? Its dead and so many stores have boarded up. Its sad and doesnt show a rising economy at all. I for one am happy to see the Palladio showing more life even if I can't afford to shop there myself. It will boost our community and may bring some business from our neighboring towns.

How many Granny Smiths, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Macintosh, etc are there?

if they could have a little bakery and sell pies it might work..say the apples are organic and you can jack the price up some.
