Good thing this was not on a weekend night or the injuries would have been catastrophic!!!!! This lady had been drinking all day long from a very good resource and yet they still served her!!!!
So she is obviously an Esthetician in the community, so I am going to pull up her license and put in on here, if she has one!!!!
Where is the high priced Folsom Police who pull you over for everything else? Lets see, we have a drug/intoxicated driver who kills two and now this and it does come in three's.
Lets hope you are not the next victim from this obviously not patrolled community....
Shame on you FPD and lets not blame it on budget cuts......
And you are saying that both of these are the Police Departments fault???
You have got to be kidding. These are the fault of the drivers of those vehicles.

This is quite possibly the stupidest thing I have ever read. Seriously? It's FPD's fault?

You be the cop. How would you have prevented these incidents?
You would have had to have been at the bar and seen the drunk woman leave. You would have had to have been with the druggies and arrested them before they got in their car.
Not nearly as easy as it sounds, and it doesn't sound that easy.

Folsom is a Good Old Boy community and you all know it.....They are sitting around with really nothing to do , so since the incidences of DUI's have gone up lets ramp it up and try to make Folsom a better community to live in. Very sad for all the Families involved.....

In my 52 years I've never once thought of blaming the cops for someone else's actions behind the wheel. Not harsh at all......Folsom PD is there to ticket you for everything else that means nothing.... So 2 people are dead and more could have been dead at FBA, so Chris and Steve I hope you are not on the Patio or one of your loved ones next time something like this happens.

My daughter and her friends were victims of a drunk driver a few years back. The drunk was coming down East Natoma from El Dorado Hills. I didn't blame the cops. How would they know about the drunk? They can't be everywhere.

How exactly could they have prevented the incident on Folsom Blvd? Or even the Lake Bowl one? Your comments are asinine.

mary56, do you ever read the Folsom Police log? There are a frightening number of DUI arrests. To me, that means they are doing something. The reasons why so many people are choosing to drive while intoxicated is beyond the PD's control. Even if you wanted Folsom to institute some sort of prohibition-type controls around bars in town, I doubt it would stop people from drinking and driving.
I will agree with the part of your post that it is very sad these things are happening.

I don't think it's anyone's fault but the driver. Many people drink more than they should and drive home. It's not a bar's fault, it's not the police's fault. People need to take responsibility for their actions. Luckily nobody was seriously injured... It's unfortunate some went to the hospital, but I'm sure all are grateful to be alive.
Very well put.

What is your problem lady? Are you 100% perfect???Here is her License Info from State Board of Cosmo(edited by John) While I don't condone the actions of this incident, I don't think defaming her business is cool.

Allright allright, let's not all pile on Mary56. She may have an unpopular opinion on this one, but perhaps there is more to meet the eye. Let's not get personal, please.
I agree but her comments were way out in left field, Seriously... blaming the FPD for these accidents??? That's like blaming the pope for people sinning.
