This really isn't that far-fetched. We received an email last week about the fees for parks and rec programs going up significantly. It sounds like the new budget is filled with increased fees and cost cuts everywhere except, I presume, leadership income and anything that negatively affects a developer. I wouldn't be surprised if they start closing park restrooms or putting a TP vending machine in them.
You can actually Google stories in 2010 during the budget dealie when they were saying the state parks couldn't afford to be stocked with toilet paper so it really isn't that far-fetched.
The part that makes it funny is how incredibly expensive it would be to outfit the restrooms with vending machines in and maintain them, not to mention the theft and vandalism aspects of it.
