Depends on the store, too. Off 5th has some kind of bounty on getting you to sign up for their card. I suspect the same for REI, though that card is worthwhile.

To those salespeople who constantly try to spray me, I wait before I approach the kiosk, make eye contact and say I'm highly allergic, so do NOT spray me please. Thanks. They always back off when I use that approach.

The worst are at the Roseville Gallery from the Kiosk sales people! They spray, flat iron your hair and push coupons in your hand while you are walking! I feel like I'm on the Vegas strip! It looks like a mall with a flea market on the side b/c they let so many kiosks in there.
