There's nothing wrong with wanting to know if the information provided was helpful.

When you're expecting it within 30 minutes and get annoyed when it doesn't come in that time period, perhaps you need to chill a bit.

Not to be mean, but honestly, if you expect something back for every good deed, you aren't going to get much back in return and it's kind of petty.

Starting your post off with "not to be mean," doesn't really seem sincere when you end it with calling me petty. It's kind of like saying "asbestoshills seems like a really negative, unhappy person," and then trying to gloss it over with "bless her heart" at the end.

I don't really consider providing information a good deed. I guess you're right I shouldn't expect good manners anymore.

Priscilla, sorry. I shouldn't have had such a short fuse and held you accountable for what others have done. Hope we're good.

That was pretty much my earlier point, but Asbestos implied that a person expecting an acknowledgment in any case was wrong.

Please, unless you are researching a rare disease n which you have circled the globe trying to find the cure for your BBF b/c they are dying, don't expect too much in return.
