We went down for lunch a couple days ago. All I had was two slices of pizza and it was
great. I think I will get one to go one of these days.
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Had dinner the other night, The soup was very good. So was the salad and the chicken wings. And while the pizza was good, I will have to say I think it suffered from too much toppings. The bottom of the dough was cooked, but the top of the dough where the sauce was, not so much and even though the cheese was melted, the overall temp of the pizza was not very hot. I think the pizza literally had too much toppings on top of the cheese for it to cook properly or maybe it just needed another 3 to 5 minutes in the oven, but then I'm not sure if the bottom of the crust would have been burned or not. They definitly didn't skimp on the toppings, but IMO, they actually went a little too far with the amount of toppings. Next time, I think I'll try their pastas and maybe try just a simple pepperoni pizza. I do know I plan on returning.

We went to Skipolini's last night at around 6pm thinking we'd be at the beginning of the dinner crowd. We were wrong. They were packed! Good for them, bad for us. The Hostess told us they just sat a party at their table for five, so we'd have to wait until they were done - probably an hour or more. We chose not to wait. We'll try again when we can get there earlier, I guess.

I was a little surprised that a family pizza restaurant has only one table that will fit more than four people. When it was Tahoe Joe's, there were a couple larger booths (by the kitchen/bathrooms) at which we were usually seated, but perhaps those got removed when they opened up the kitchen view. Don't they still have tables in the back section that they can be pulled together? What do they do for larger groups or teams? What if two families wanted to go out together? Just seems a little odd to me, to be marketing as a "family friendly" restaurant but then having only one large table.
