Wealthy? No. We just manage our finances properly.

65k seriously, if you aren't wealthy why would you want to pay that much for a car? Are they really that much better?

My wife and I already discuss this issue. Her career is almost as important as mine.

We planned to go to Roseville Automall yesterday. On our way there we decided to stop by the Lexus dealer nearby to checkout some SUVs and look at what we ended up with. We do crazy things.

That's a good one Gaelic. I've known plenty of professional women... lawyers, businesswomen, etc. That were 100% convinced they're return to work - and some did - for a short time. Almost all are now full time moms.

If you think about it babies are only babies for so long, 5 years then they are in school. You can never get that time back in your babies life, you can jump back into a career anytime.

Come on now, babies are only cute for a few months (if at all)...a cool car lasts much longer.

With the uncertainty of the economy and incomes, it's good to balance between careers and family.

Anyway, Lexus will produce a new line of luxury large SUV - the FX 470 in 2006 or 2007.
