Closed up, done. After the smash and grab there may have been some difficulty in tracking all the inventory that they had on hand that was grabbed. I don't think the ATF took kindly to that. Plus I think they were barely hanging on anyways. I mean, a gun shop in California?May as well sell ice cubes to Eskimos!

I'm pro-second amendment, but in today's environment of smash and grab, all gun stores need to really step it up in terms of security (preventing things such as smash and grab) and safety (lock the guns in safes during off-hours).
I do hate to see a small business go under, but if guns stores do not do this, I think we are better off with them closed.

It's beyond shocking that they left guns there in plain view and easy to smash and grab.
*Stupid* is not a harsh enough word for that.
I just hope they're not Folsom residents. We have enough dummies here already.

Sac Black Rifle in Rocklin was in the news recently. In response to all the smash and grabs a constructuon company donates some large concrete roadside barriers that they lined up in front of their building. They are currently in a fight with the city of Rocklin over it and expect to get fined.

I saw that on the news last night as well. While I applaud the guy for taking these precautions his execution stinks. Drop 5-6 concrete barriers in the parking spots in front of his place and call it done? Heck he could have at least slapped a coat of paint on them to make them look a bit more presentable. And then he was whining about the city suggestions to add concrete poles like other businesses have done and he scoffed at that too.
If I'm owning a gun shop this kind of protection is one of the first things that should come to mind before you open your doors. It's not like these types of robberies were just created 2 weeks ago.

Silly
Lots of gun shops & firearms enthusiasts in california. You'd be amazed how many the average enthusiast owns.
STS never had a large inventory, and thus their demise IMO. Super friendly, helpful owners.
