I would actually rather it be at Livermore rather than Lembi, because it seems to have nice facilities.

This what our President sent to me regarding the park since I wanted to make sure there wasn't going to be a conflict between the picnic and our use of the football field:
"We have the field reserved, but [Parks and Rec] gave us a heads up for parking. They are having the concerts down below [the field]."
So it looks like the concert will not be at the football field, which leaves the softball field and/or the grassy areas around the volleyball courts.

Still there remains the burning question, where are all these people for two large events going to park??????? Add to that, future facillities, like two more softball fields, a soccer field and more, and you have a total fiasco and irresponsible planning to say the least!

well, the answer to this question is obvious: Finish the damn park already!!! I'm tired of these half-built parks such as Catlin Park and Livermore Park where one half of the park is chain-link fence.
I thought the city just did their budget for the year. I don't recall seeing anything about finishing existing parks!

The answer is not to finish the park, but to reevaluate the existing plans based on the traffic nightmare that exists already. Unless half of the land will be devoted to parking for the existing facilities!!!????!!!!

I would actually prefer that they just finish the park too, to revaluate, would just prolong the whole process of finishing the park.

Well, there certainly was a lot of alchohol flowing at the concert, so I guess that there is some kind of mass permit or very selective enforcement.

I know there are permits to drink at the park every week.

I just wasn't sure what would happen w/ this event. Well, if you can't stop it, I will join it.
So far, nothing thrown into my backyard by the unwashed masses...I mean, my fellow Folsomites (j/k to those that can't take a joke). Yee-haw!
