The recent tv commercials are right on - cable sucks. And that goes for Comcast internet. When you have an outage, you need to call and report it, and then when it comes back on, call again and ask them to credit you for the time it was out. You need to do this every time. It's a pain, but it gets you a miniscule credit, but more importantly it goes into their database as a "reported" outage and they have to report those in their performance and customer satisfaction data.

Don't pay for something you don't get (again it's a pain) and don't let them get away with better performance records than they really have.
