Been there twice in the last 2 weeks.

Pork sandwich absolutely fantastic. A lunchtime bargain at under $4.

Chicken sandwich OK. They use dark meat, which many object to but which is truly truly truly more moist and flavorful (mine had no cartilage or fat or skin, as noted by a previous poster). Nothing really wrong with it, but not up to the pork's wonderfulness. Other sandwich flavors available, too.

Fresh spring rolls are beautiful, but lacking in flavor. The nice dipping sauce helps.

The young man running the place is very energetic and personable. He took over from a failing "tapioca drink" outlet (if I understand correctly). He still sells the drinks, and has Internet terminals, too.

I'll certainly be back for the pork, and I'll give the chicken another try, too.

Where is the one in Roseville? I remember getting a flyer, but lost it.

I've still got the flyer, but have never been there.

It's called "H L Noodles & Bakery" (HL stands for Huong Lan, the type of sandwich). The address is 1811 Douglass Blvd, Suite A1. At the time of the flyer, prices for the sandwiches were $2.49 & $2.99 for takeout (add $0.50 for dining in!). They also have 20 different soups and half a dozen or so Chow Meins. All seriously cheap.
