OK - Here's Paula's explanation of why she was so scatter brained Tuesday. The judges do watch the dress rehearsals.

That's what the blogger thinks (and I agree), but Paula's actual story is that she was looking at David Cook's notes. However, she said the performance left her "empty," so obviously she wasn't talking about David.

Jason has got to go after that performance, one would think, but there are people who would vote for him simply because they like his look.

Syesha was terrible on the first song, fantastic on the second. David Archuleta was solid as usual. David Cook was so so.

heh its time to say goodbye to Jason... he royally sucked tonite and he's gotta be diong this on purpose now, it totally looks like he wants off

David Cook was the best by far - the most original, the most charismatic, the most daring, his rendition of that Who song was spectacular

David Archuletta bored the heck outta me once again - I mean come on, who is going to ever buy his music.... besides senior citizens and elevator music publishers?

Sayesha did pretty good, I really liked her Sam Cook song but geezus.... Randy made the poor girl cry - and I laffed so hard when Ryan called Randy a buzz kill. She would make a really great broadway star, I can see her doing a movie like that other AI gal who did the Supremes movie

All in all it was a good show, I like that they had their own choice of music to choose from

I finally voted for the first time, didn't wanna see David Cook go the Daughtry route just yet....

but ya know - they probably all have recording contracts already at this point anyways

I'll be very unhappy if Syesha goes tomorrow. She really stepped up her game.

it would be a crime for her to be voted off before Jason

and did you see Carly in the audience? -I could swear I saw that look on her face after Jason's performance that just said "what the heck? I got voted off before HIM??"

She started crying after Paula gave her all the sweet talk about "you're living your dream, blah blah blah. For gone conclusion: Castro next, then Seyesha, Cook takes a dive and gives the title to stumpy.

About 6 million little girls will buy his music... maybe he could go the Hanna Montana route?

Jason needs to go tonight although the young public may vote him to stay .. My teenage niece who watches weekly with me said even though he was bad she would still vote for him and the texting consensus of her friends was JASON is so Cute... So that is where his votes come from. It would not be a horrible thing if David Cook was to get voted off even Daughtry said it was to his advantage he didn't win he was able to sign a record deal immediatly and wasn't held to all the "American Idol" Stipulations that go the first year... SO while I want him to win I think going into the finals if he didn't make it he will be just fine and be just as or even more sucessful than Daughtry.

I think Seyesha will go if Jason doesn't tonight. Hopefully the public will vote Jason off.

I know he's got the screaming teeny bopper fan club but would they seriously buy and listen to his gospel/opera sounding music? I just can't see kids listening to his old fogey style of stale music. He has no diversity or charisma and he it seems he can only sing in a monotone gospel type style - he has never sung a real rock style song or any other genre for that matter - I think he can only do gospel/opera stuff - at least thats what I see with him.

Now don't get me wrong, he does have a really great voice, I just think his style is very boring and won't sell very well to teenagers

David Cook on the other hand is gonna be the next Chris Daughtry and sell tons of albums very very well to not only the teeny boppers, but to adults too

maybe David Archuletta can get the geriatrics interested in his stuff
