Did he really turn down that deal with Fuel or was it that he is not allowed to do that? I had heard that all idol contenstant/finalists must sign a contract that requires them to tour and record with AI affiliates for 1-3 years.

It'll be interesting to hear what music he makes with Clive Davis at the helm

I don't know, haven't really followed it that much in depth, but nothing like that has been mentioned in the general articles that I've read.

Thats too bad he didnt' go with the band Fuel, I bet they could have done very well together - he's got the right voice for their sound
