Wait a second! There's another tasting tonight? And how did I not know about this? What are they tasting and at what time? Sheesh, and here I thought I was in the know.

Glad to meet you and Danielle last night. I hope you enjoyed it and found it worth while. Brent let me know about the tasting when I lamented missing the previous one (later that same night). They have a calendar online. Another event later this month! Or you can be in the know from this thread. smile.gif Thanks again for the taste of chocolate cake. yum.gif

Nice seeing DaveBurrito and Steve+Mrs last night too.

I liked the Maximus and Undercover ales...
I was suprised at the difference between the different vintages of Brown Sugga.
The food sampler was a nice complement.

That was a very good tasting and that Undercover ale was my favorite along with the 07 Brown Sugar and that last really great one that Brent served as the surprise beer - forgot the name but got pic of it

Sheesh, finally getting back on here after a week away.

Nice meeting you too and you're welcome for the cake. I love Manderes, I wanted cake so Brent gave me cake....gotta love a place like that!

Nice to meet Steve and the Mrs. as well...looking back at the posts, did you go to the Bailies wine event before Manderes? And how was it if you did?

I really enjoyed the Cappucinio which prompted me to ask for the cake and the IPA....

And even though Brent was nice enough to give me some Frambois it still doesn't stand up to the Kasteel Rouge!

Yes - Brent is quite the host. He brought another piece of chocolate cake to another table of women. I think your idea stimulated that... You're a trend-setter. smile.gif

I love Manderes too, but I don't get there enough. I need to try it for lunch sometime. drinks.gif

Lost Coast tasting April 9th... (Downtown Brown, etc)

The hop-heads are likely to be there too.

I was in Folsom Sunday working on the house between tenants and went to Manderes Sunday evening. I had 2 very different (and very good) beers and a couple of appetizers. Everything was outstanding. You guys have to keep that place going until I get out there full time. I need to try all the other beers! smile.gif
