"Hey Mr. Tamborine man, forget a song for me...."

He was just going through the motions - I don't think he really cared. I think that is why the judges were so hard on him (aside from the fact that he really really sucked). Look at the difference on his reaction (shxt eaten grin) to the response from the judges to Seyesha's response to Randy's criticism. She really wants it - he could care less. Even if he knows he doesn't have a chance to win... fighting like crazy to the end could mean $$ and gigs. I'm just sayin'

I agree that Jason didn't care. I kind of doubt he even practiced the week before. I think he got into this to have fun and it got way out of hand. I do think he has potential to sell some albums. I've heard "Over the Rainbow" a few times and I actually think it's pretty good.

David Archuleta is a very good singer, but I think he is too young. He doesn't have the stage presence and charisma. Yes, he's a shy little cutie-pie, but that's it. And, the songs "he" (aka his dad) picks are so boring and old-fashioned. I'd like to hear him sing something younger. I don't know how far the little girls will take him.

I've always thought David Cook was the best, but last night was just okay.

Syesha - pretty and talented, but not very original. She seem sweet, so I think she'll make it somewhere.

I've been saying "goodbye Jason" for weeks. Maybe finally it will happen. Besides blowing the songs (first one awful, second one forgetting words) he really has NO personality. It seems like he can barely string together a sentence in the interviews, and when he does it's totally without any sense of passion. He always ends with a shrug.
"Sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident, teachers' unions have a long history of working against the interests of children in the name of job security for adults. And Democrats in particular have a history of facilitating this obstructionism in exchange for campaign donations and votes." . . .Amanda Ripley re "Waiting for Superman" movie.

He seems dumber than a bag of dirt, and needs to get a clue that being lazy shows disrespect for one's audience.

No, Jason WANTS to go home. He's DONE. He even mouthed "don't vote" when Ryan was reading the numbers.

Really? I didn't see that! What an idiot.
So does anyone think he is NOT getting voted off tonight?

Jason has to go...

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

I second that. I think he has fried one too many brain cells and that is why he can hardly piece a sentence together. lmaosmiley.gif

It was a total waste of time watching him last night.

Forgetting words and "lazy" attitude aside, I still like him. I like his voice and most of his performances. I couldn't help but smile while watching his exit package and elimination tonight. It wasn't a smile of "Yes, he got voted off"...it was more sharing his obvious relief to be off the show.

"I shot the tamborine man" Ha! I bet Simon said that.

I'm going to miss him. He was the only one with an interesting personality - IMO. It was fun to see him so happy to be leaving, though.

I wonder if he even wants the pressure of the tour?
