Chris, he's irrelevant, and he knows it. That's why he's angry and bitter. He probably cried while watching Trump speak at the NRA Convention today. Another Trump success!  Hooray!!

 

It used to be that when people went to work for the White House, it enhanced their experience and status. They would emerge being smarter, more capable, and better at what they do.  It would be a positive stepping stone to their career.

 

Today, our president has succeeded to turning that whole thing around.  Everyone who departs from a Trump White House position is damaged in some way.  They're either disgraced, incompetent, or the subject of some kind of investigation.  And the most likely reason is the water they are carrying for this president is poisoned and some of it has spilled on them. 

 

A good example is Rudy Giuliani.  This man earned tremendous respect for his leadership after the 9/11 attack.  He did amazing things in a tough situation.  Now, after only one week as the president's attorney, he looks like an incompetent fool.  He will eventually depart with a seriously damaged reputation.

 

Again, our president has succeeded in changing the lives of people who worked for him - for the worse.  Congratulations on this great success.

Trump can now say that Kanye West is among his inner circle.  Just think, pretty soon we'll have the Kardashians in cabinet positions.  What an amazing development.  this just goes to show you how incredibly successful Trump is at getting influential world leaders into his fold.   Or is it because Kanye is the only person who will come within 10 ft of our president?

In October 1988, Donald Trump gotr into the airline business by purchasing Eastern Air Shuttle, a service that for 27 years had run hourly flights between Boston, New York City and Washington, D.C. For roughly $365 million, Trump got a fleet of 17 Boeing 727s, landing facilities in each of the three cities and the right to paint his name on an airplane. Trump pushed to give the airline the Trump touch, making the previously no-muss, no-fuss shuttle service into a luxury experience. But his gamble was a bust. A lack of increased interest from customers combined with high pre–Gulf War fuel prices meant the shuttle never turned a profit. The high debt forced Trump to default on his loans, and ownership of the company was turned over to creditors. The Trump Shuttle ceased to exist in 1992 when it was merged into a new corporation, Shuttle Inc.

Trump University was a series of wealth-building seminars for which students paid as much as $34,995 for mentorships that would supposedly get them access to Trump's secrets of success. Instead of the hand-picked instructors Trump promised, the seminars were delivered by motivational speakers, often without degrees and sometimes with felony criminal records.   The business is now defunct and he's the subject of two class-action lawsuits in California related to Trump University, and a third suit, for $40 million, brought by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Donald Trump launched Trump Mortgage in 2006, with a glamorous press conference. As Trump told CNBC, “I think it’s a great time to start a mortgage company … who knows about financing better than I do?” The outfit shuttered after just a year-and-a-half in business. It wasn’t such great timing after all. And to add insult to injury, the man Trump selected to run the mortgage business, E.J. Ridings, lied on his resume about his credentials.
