That said - why do we shun marketing candy cigarettes to kids, etc. - but a chain can get away with marketing what look like (and a pretty much marketed as) marijuana brownies?
Does this seem weird - or am I just getting old?

We walked by Freebirds tonight on our way to Chicago Fire. my kids noticed a huge sign in the window at Freebirds that said "Pot Brownies." My first thought was, of course, that they were marijuana brownies. They are not.

Just wondering, cuz I've noticed a huge increase in traffic, of course, especially on the weekend when everyone parks in the Whole Foods parking lot. And people are walking (more like staggering) across the street, through the bushes in the center divider in front of Chicago Fire, not sure where they are going...probably over to the Whole Foods parking lot. And of course, there is the mentality that the drivers have to be the 1st one out of the gate...exiting the parking lots onto E Bidwell.
I was at Chicago Fire on the friday night before new years, it was nuts... Got there at 515 & had a 45 minute wait.

Victoria's Secret, Express, and LOFT are a few stores that are holding back currently.

Just found out the outlets will be getting Forever 21...kind of disappointed as I hoped Palladio would have gotten them as they're one of the hottest retailers right now and really draw people in.
I'm confused...... the outlets are last season/discount stores aren't they? Why would they open a new store there and NOT have their current inventory go into the Palladio???

That's an excellent question!

I am not sure if this has been posted yet but here is the PDF/map of the updated (as of 05/11) leasing plan for Palladio with tenants or tentative tenants via the leasing agency for Palladio JonesLangLasalle - LINK: http://www.us.am.jon..._Lease_Plan.pdf
Looks like there is space planned for a restaurant that is still vacant in front of Toby Keith's new place - Hey maybe a Cheesecake Factory! I can only dream of this coming to Folsom
Also, it looks like the previous General Manager of the Fountains/Roseville is the new General Manager of Palladio - See Link: http://www.bizjourna...ger-folsom.html
Folsom City Website always updates the "New Businesses Coming To Folsom" page every month. Kinda cool they list these. Looks like a Baja Fresh is coming to Folsom Auburn Rd. across from Folsom Lake Crossing - Link: http://www.folsom.ca...nt/arrivals.asp

I sure wish a Cheescake Factory restaurant would open in Palladio. I love that place!

Eric, is this info correct? I'm seeing a whole bunch of stores here that you haven't mentioned yet.
I vote for a Cheesecake Factory also!!

I'm not sure we need another restaurant. Some clothing stores that aren't just for teens would be nice.

There is a Talbot's and I thought we were getting a White House Black Market, but I don't see it...
What is the deal with all of the fruit name businesses? Papaya? Apricot Lane? Sweet Tomatoes? What do they sell?
