Sadly, many on the Right Wing Nut end of the GOP would remove that right.

Now, the GOP is working to disenfranchise (take the vote away, for those home schooled)
just about every minority group,

and is for taking away the rights that women have gained over the past 100 years.

They are trying to control what a woman is allowed to do with her health.

 

Can you imagine if women ruled the world and they passed a (Biblical) law to punish men

for the "spilling of seed?"  Hah! You'd hear a howl that would echo around the world 7 times!

You are soooo off base here.  NO ONE is trying to remove the right of women to vote.  NO ONE is telling women what to do with their bodies. They are, however trying to protect unborn/newborn infants. The NY and Virginia approaches are barbaric, and while we cannot debate them here, I find it disgusting and appalling that what they intend is even a matter for discussion.

There is no EVIDENCE of voter suppression. The fact that is ignored in your hair on fire links is that absentee voting has grown significantly (and will continue to do so.)  Absentee votes have gone up 100% or more just since 2014 in some areas!  Nowhere is that addressed. Poor people dont HAVE to go to a polling place!  It's like the hubbub every time a school district has to shutter a school. Liberal rags decrie the inhumanity. The TRUTH is that there is declining enrollment in certain areas and closing schools is the appropriate response.

Your articles are talking about a 10-15% decrease in polling places vs a 100% increase in absentee votes. Seems pretty conservative to me. I almost wonder why MORE places arent closing.

In CA, we went from 24% absentee in 2000 to 65% in 2018!! The last few times I didn't vote absentee, there were VERY few people at my local polling place.
