When is the Kaiser facility supposed to open? It looks completed.

Well, I saw this in the Sac Bee in October of this year, but reading some of the other posts replying to your question maybe the November opening did not happen?

New Kaiser surgery facility offers preview at community open house
Published: Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 | Page 2B
Kaiser Permanente will conduct a community open house from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at its new Folsom Ambulatory Surgery facility, 285 Palladio Parkway.

Visitors will get a preview of the $41.6 million, 46,000-square-foot facility, which will open officially Nov. 4. It includes six operating rooms and 24 pre-operative and recovery bays, allowing Kaiser Permanente patients to have outpatient surgery closer to home, according to a news release.

The facility will offer orthopedic, podiatric, women's health and general surgery procedures.

The building reflects Kaiser Permanente's green construction practices, according to a news release. It includes a white, thermoplastic polyolefin roof that deflects heat to cool the building; skylights to provide natural light; rubber flooring that does not need to be waxed or stripped with harsh chemicals; and carpeting with a PVC-free backing made from recycled safety glass.

The facility also features 24 pieces of art created by Northern California artists.

Well, Nov 4 has come & gone. Is it open and it just appears to not be?
I've driven by it on the 2 lane road a few times and it still looks closed.
I would rather be Backpacking

Some more internet sleuthing unearthed this: http://mydoctor.kais...er/news_events/

On Nov. 4, 2008, the 46,000-square-foot facility, located at 285 Palladio Parkway, began offering outpatient surgery services, including orthopedic, podiatric, women’s health and general surgery procedures.

So, yes, it appears it is open for business and has been since November 4.

If you actually drive through the short cut from Broadstone Parkway to Iron Point you'll find the buildings to the right are open and cars are there on a regular basis. Hope that helps too!

I've driven through, but mostly on weekends, so maybe that's why it has looked closed.

Can anyone verify that Whole Foods has pulled out of the Palladio?

Slowly but surely, it looks like Palladio is still progressing. I look forward to it opening one day. I guess the movie theatre will be the first thing to open (aside from Kaiser) later this year.

When the economy turns around and they start getting some good tennants, it'll be nice.

Is that little Kaiser bldg even open still? I went by there the other day and saw no cars, activity, etc. Not sure what that little bldg was even for.

Little Kaiser building? It looks like a decent size to me?

I am not certain, but I think it's open for basic surgery (leave the hospital same day). I guess it's possible that it's not open each business day yet. I dunno.

I'm not talking the big hospital, there is a smaller bldg right off the road just behind all the empty mall facades.

the larger Kaiser building on Iron Point is a medical office, no hospital, just doctors and labs and such.

the smaller Kaiser building in the Palladio is an out-patient surgery center.

only hospital in town is Mercy. Kaiser Hospital is in Roseville.

OK then, is the small Kaiser out-patient surgery center in Palladio Mall still open? It didn't appear to be the last few times I drove by it.

I've been watching workers on the top of the six story structure near E Bidwell and Iron Point every morning I go to work. They've been installing the roof on that building FOR 4 MONTHS! At least two workers up there, everyday. I don't think it should take 4 months to install a tile roof.
