With the definition of what a planet is being debated, it would be great to have a planetarium. It would be fun and educational and a little different that another movie theater. It would be a regional draw, too.

The one in SF is pretty cool.

I would love to have PF Changs, Pottery Barn, Ann Taylor Loft, Crate n Barrel, Victoria's Secret, Cheesecake Factory. Cosentino's (Bay Area super market), Willow Street Pizza (Bay Area restaurant), and Arby's. If they were here I'd really never have to leave town.

If I could only choose one, I'd choose PF Changs...hands down!! They rock!

For those who wished for In'N Out and Fry's, I hear it's coming as well as Circuit City, Ethan Allen, Ruby Tuesdays, Bed Bath & Beyond and quite a few others.

Cosentinos would be great.
We all dream of a world of sunshine and rainbows and peace. The problem is some people think this would be a great place to live, while others think it would be a great place to pillage.

Something fun like this would be great. I also agree with the Planetarium idea, how fun that would be for the whole family!

I believe the one in SF is attached to the observatory, that is either in fog or very clear.. installing such a beast in the polluted populated Sacramento valley would be a waste of resources. Go to Hawaii instead wink.gif

Along those lines, somewhere "up" the hill is a small observatory. It's run by the Rotary Club of Cameron Park. Here's the URL: http://www.cameronpa.../cprcohours.asp

If you like this kind of community activity and would like to send a donation, it can be mailed to:
