What we really need is the Oak Ave/Hwy 50 interchange to be built. That way all the mall traffic can use the E. Bidwell exit and the people who live in Folsom can use the Oak Ave exit.

An interchange at Oak Ave would be less than one (1) mile away from the current Prairie City exit. Not a lot of bang for the buck IMO.

Maybe some day when Sout of 50 develops but right now I just dont see the need

Really? Don't see the need? Have you driven over there lately? It's a mess most of the time during just normal traffic flow. When the mall is 100% it's gonna be Roseville grid-lock all day.

And aren't there already exits all up and down Hwy 50 1 mile apart? Prairie City, Folsom blvd, Hazel, etc?

From Sunrise, most things are about 2 miles apart.

I drive Iron Point all the time and traffic is not the problem so much as all the stop lights. The addition of an interchange wont change that.

Even if one was there I don't forsee many Palladio shoppers wanting to trek a mile+ down Iron Point through 4-5 stoplights in order to catch the freeway when the E Bidwell interchange is right there.

I spoke to an employee over at LensCrafters on Sunrise today. She confirmed they are opening a new store at the Palladio :2thumbsup: She, on the other hand, seemed pretty POed that she'd have to drive from her side of town to Folsom.

East Bidwell is already gridlock. It takes multiple cycles just to get through the intersection of E. Bidwell & Iron Point during rush hour. I avoid it.

Wow Toby Keith's open in March? That seems pretty quick since the place is a shell right now. Love the one in Vegas, can't wait for this one to open.

Is there a newer thread for Palladio?

Now Toby Keith's is saying July.

Hearing rumors that Burgers & Brew and Victoria's Secret have pulled out.

H&M has also delayed from this summer until the holidays.

Claire's and Gymboree are signed on for this summer, subject to change.

Lane Bryant has chosen to locate in the space Old Navy is downsizing out of. Ann Taylor LOFT and Forever 21 are locating or have already gone to the outlets.

I hear that Morgan Taylor Salon (currently located in EDH) is being heavily wooed.

2nd location or relocation? I hear a ton of EDH retailers are being wooed to make the move.

2nd location. They recently closed their Sacramento store in Town & County. They are a primo Aveda salon (can't remember what the primo stores are officially called). The owner is semi-interested...not really interested in having 2 stores again, but semi-interested in the opportunity. I'd rather go to the EDH location even though Folsom is closer.

I believe they're called Aveda Concepts, or concept salons, or something like that.

Also, just heard Pottery Barn Teen (officially known as PBteen) will be locating at the Galleria as their Western US debut store (store #5 overall) as well as a very expensive watch retailer will making it's NorCal debut there soon as well. Thought some might be interested. Seems to be where Williams-Sonoma (parent company of Pottery Barn) is going to be placing its stores for Sacramento with the closing of the Pottery Barn at Arden.

I'm guessing that the watch retailer might be Omega since they are now opening their own stores in upscale locations/malls.
