for those who missed last nights episodes, here's some of the better performances (IMO)

This was my ultimate favorite song of the night by the two David's

Here's Cook rocking out with ZZ Top

and I really liked this one with Seal and Sayesha

I thought this was the best performance by a former winner (I think this should be the theme song for cougars in the bars around here)

I fully agree and do remember his audition

its too bad his management failed to produce a good album for him because I always thought he would be the new Joe Cocker

Seriously. I would love to see him in a 1000 seat venue, but no desire to see him at somewhere like Arco. If he would have recorded good music, I definitely would have bought it. But, Clive (who I used to admire) just dropped the ball on this guy. "Do I Make You Proud?" puke.gif His whole album sucked, was not the right sound for him.

Wonder if he can turn it around with an independent label that will capture his sound?

That duet was fabulous.
Maybe David Archuletta can be one of David Cook's back-up singers!

yeah Clive really dissapointed me too with what he did to Taylor and several others. Ruben Studdard lost his recording contract too.

an indpendant label is Hick's best bet, he has a nitch sound, it could do well, it produced right

That did really work well with his high notes in that song and that was a helluva great choice of songs for those two

Surprisingly professional stuff from the top ten. But Jason Castro sounded amateur. Sayesha does so much better when the pressure is off!
"Sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident, teachers' unions have a long history of working against the interests of children in the name of job security for adults. And Democrats in particular have a history of facilitating this obstructionism in exchange for campaign donations and votes." . . .Amanda Ripley re "Waiting for Superman" movie.

My wife things he needs to join the Back Street Boys, with his bounce and all.
