I called it a rumor because it's 2nd hand info to me, even tho the leasing agent shared the info with my friend. AND I have not identified the business my friend owns.....so "rumor."

Ok...so it's a business tactic. I can accept that.

I hope it turns out to be true. That would be awesome.

The current proposed location for B&N is..... from E Bidwell as you turn onto the street Chicago Pizza is on, go past it, past the parking garage, and the next street you can turn right...that's the corner. I think she said the space was 25,000 sqft. (I don't know the names of the streets)

My friend was given an updated map with the proposed location of the Apple store. Her shop would be nearby. But she had technical difficulties opening the document on her phone, so even she doesn't know exactly where it is, yet.

Which building are you talking about? The one with WHBM or the one with Button Up and Blue Nami and all those places? Or a different one?

And that size for Apple seems accurate as that's their prototype size now. They're relocating their Arden store to match that size this year and the Galleria store just expanded

I had to get on my macbook so I could look at the map, but I can't find it. It's on the same side as the 4-5 story building. It'd be really nice if there was an updated map available on the website...oh..I found it.....http://gopalladio.com under center directory.

I think it's building 320. We were thinking that the Apple store would be over in the area of building 430, 410 or 400.

Maybe the Arden store is moving to Folsom!

I was asking about where B&N is going, not Apple.

And no, the Apple store at Arden is just relocating within the mall to a bigger space. Nice try lol

I believe 410 is where H&M is going, if plans haven't changed.

I'm guessing 320 for B&N.

We were just guessing on Apple. Until my friend actually opens that file on her computer, we won't know!

My last plans dated a couple weeks ago do not show B&N in that building or any building for that matter. However, there are no leases even close in that building, so it's a possibility I guess.

Apple is looking at building 350.

Retail Leasing Agents are some of the biggest storytellers on the planet. Just don't put too much credibility on the stories until the Lease is signed. :P

We Want See's Candy!!!

This is coming! I saw the sign in the window yesterday while at Whole Foods, says "coming soon"!
imagine it will be open for the holidays, but the inside is pretty empty. Guess they don't need much more than a display case and a couple of shelves to set candy on though.

I was walking through the Mall yesterday and saw some activity going on in Building 350, thought maybe it was the Apple Store, it wasnt, but according to one the guys I talked to, its a store called Rod Works. I looked it up on the web, its a Home Decor store with some unusual items but should be nice there, they seem to be in Arizona, Nevada and Utah, this would be there first California store it looks like, anyways just thought Id share...

I have a real hard time believing Apple will open a store in Folsom. There are already two in the area (Roseville and Arden) and the population doesn't seem big enough to support another, given that Apple Stores are usually located in major population centers.

But I bet the leasing agent reached out to Apple and sent them some info, and then told every other prospective lessor that "Apple is looking at it". ;)

I believa ya dude, that's why it's nothing but a big tease to me. Unfortunatrly I can't stand going to Roseville mall and Arden is too far.

I think that's a very accurate assessment. I'd like to know who the leasing agent for Palladio currently is??

I could believe them selecting a site here in Folsom, it makes sense....the moneys here and up the hill and with the housing across the freeway in the new area starting within a year or two, well why not......and look at the new places opening up in the Sacramento area, its Folsom and Roseville that get the majority of new things, anyways Im not an Apple person, but would still be pretty happy if they chose to build here...

I saw another new store setting up today, "Charming Charlies" across from White House Black Market. I thought it was home decor, but this is what I found about it:

If you love jewelry, then you must go to http://www.charmingcharlie.com/ According to their website, the store was founded in Houston, Texas in 2004, and is a unique fashion accessories house that specializes in a fast-changing selection of fun, affordable and fabulous fashion accessories all organized by color. Featuring approximately 7,000 pairs of earrings and a similar size assortment of necklaces, bracelets and more – Charming Charlie delivers something for every woman and occasion. You just have to see it to believe it. The store is arranged in constantly-changing pods of color, and each section is filled with jewelry, purses, clothing, shoes and belts. You can find every color of the rainbow, plus animal prints, rhinestone accessories, and pearls, and even holiday gifts like hand-painted wine glasses and Santa aprons. There are literally thousands of items to choose from, and the prices can't be beat.

Apparently, the Galleria has one too.
