I wonder, in a year or two from now, when we count up the extra overdose deaths, suicides, and lost education opportunities for kids and the damage done to them that we don't end up with twice the casualties from the Covid.....?

 

Can we really tell someone in Texas who interacts with maybe 3 people a week at best, somewhere out in the sticks, on a farm to wear a mask and do what we do here in Sacramento....?   The Libertarian in me asks this for a friend.....

 

I think by May 2021, when the vaccine is available widely, that we will be approaching 400,000 deaths in the USA.....   That is the deaths of all Americans in WW2, 400,000 dead the Civil War, and 8 times the deaths of the Vietnam and Korean wars each....

 

What will the suicides, overdoses, and the plain old folks who just lose their will to live, isolated and not really "living"......    I wonder who will get those numbers....?   I am guessing it will be another 100,000+ more on top of the Covid deaths........?

 

There are studies that say lockdowns don't really work when you factor in the damage to the economy and jobs, and keeping kids out of school is not a good thing.....      Time will tell.   We will get the real story in a few years.  Maybe 5 years from now.....  Once politics is not in the equation.   Now that Trump is out and the dems own it, the story will change, and change quickly.   The liberal MSM will see to it in their attempt to aid the democrats and Biden....     Come May it will all be soft bunnies, Unicorns, spring flowers, and cute puppies in the news under the great Wizard of D.C., Joe Biden and his trusty side kick Kamala in waiting.
