I know! I totally thought she would make it all the way, or almost. They let that awful chubby pappa roach look alike with the awful goatee through, and he was hooooorrable. Now I'm rooting for the fatty with the curly hair! Or maybe the brother whose sister didn't make it, because he seems so sweet.

I'm not sure about the fatty with the curly hair...he seems a little annoying and his personality wont carry him through. Eventually he'll have to sing.

I like Haley Scarnato (sp) She's hawt!!

I'm voting for her or that other chick Melinda (back up singer) that girl can sing!

Its going to be hard to keep up with this show being on 3 nights a week. Was it this way last year when they got down to the final 24? I don't remember.

I think February sweeps end this week. Fox wants to rule as many nights as they can, hence the triple Idol attack on humanity.

Is it me or do pretty much all the male singers suck at singing?

Hopefully the women do better than last night.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with ANY of the men last night and am thinking that I probably won't watch for long. I found myself zoning out last night and when I realized that this is the week that it's on three nights, I nearly threw in the towel then. I'll definitely miss the results show on Thursday, as Survivor and CSI take precedence, of course.

I don't see myself making it through this season.

The guys were HORRIBLE. No one deserved to be there last night.

Hopefully tonight is much better.

I agree. Not one guy wow'd me at all. I did like a couple more than others, but none were anything special.

Hopefully the girls will do better tonight....

American Idol - voting problems

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Interesting. Due to the nature of their voting process, I think they are always going to be plagued with problems. Unless they limit the number of times you can vote, or charge to vote (which I know they considered at one point), it's going to happen.

I work for a telecom company and we would continually get calls/votes that were misrouted to our network. Whether the vote 'registered' or not, I'm not sure because I don't know how AT&T is doing their tabulation. Granted, there certainly weren't enough to jeopardize the outcome of the vote, but it is a common problem among LECs to misroute calls.

Overall, the guys were pretty bad. I like the beatbox kid and the pro. It didn't matter which of the rest of them got booted last night.

Most of the girls are very good. I think they should have kept the one who sang "I can't make you love me", and gotten rid of that weird one. You know the one.

I am boggled that people are liking the beatbox kid. I think his beatboxing is good, but it's a singing contest. There's something about him that's rubbing me the wrong way.

No. I don't. I can think of a couple who may fit the bill. Who do YOU mean?

He probably means the red-head dog walker. I think she is very trippy. She kind of creeps me out.

I actually like the beatbox guy (Blake). I thought he sounded good. Better than quite a few of the guys. He's in an a capella band, though, so he has to be able to sing pretty well.

I wish Antonella would have gotten the boot. Oh well. There is always a pretty girl who isn't that good, hanging around longer than she should.

Ya, the dog walker is a trip. There was another one I thought was a little off, but I can't remember her name or what she even sang. I do know that Paula really liked her... she was toward the end.

I really like the beatbox guy too... at least he was better than most.

Am I the only one blown away that Sanjaya was in the top 4 male vote getters? I thought he stunk up the place.

Nope! I was surprised, as well. People though he was sweet with his sister, but I thought that whole thing, when she was cut, was really just creepy. So, he creeps me out so that's coloring my perceptions.

Ya, I was a little creeped out too...
