And why would you assume I'd go the route of filing law suits if I don't like a law? I'd think that voting in legislators I prefer would be a more productive route, and more in line with what our Founding Fathers intended. smile.gif

boden: Never suggested you would, just that the principals behind zoning regualtions are well-established and unlikely to go away because they provide important benefits to all. The developers buying land south of 50 bought it at prices consistent or slightly higher than typical ag land in the area on the speculation that they could get it re-zonerd and reap a huge profit. That's why it's called speculation -- a gentle term for high-stakes gambling.

That's fine. And they and those who want it rezoned should spend money/time to get people elected who will rezone it. That's the way the system works. biggrin.gif
