I've been looking at some of the prices those places are selling for, and I agree that description does sound like The Cliff House - but for only $179,000 obo??

I can't think of anywhere with a 100+ capacity landscaped back patio.
I thought it was Touche (previously Bacarras), but they're far from "profitable" and don't have a front patio
My only guess would be Amarin Thai. They have patio's up front and a big one out back. But I wouldn't call it the best location, but that part is potentially subjective.
I don't think it's Cliffhouse, or "View" and "Full Bar" would be mentioned, not landscaped patio and beer+wine.

I, too, thought it would be more expensive because they do have the location, location, location thing down. Perhaps the kitchen is out-of-date and a mess. I've never been there, never have had a single good recommendation to do so, but I assume that they'd probably have to sell low because the investor would need a ton of cash for updating.
There were some others on there that made me curious.

I love Amarin Thai! An excellent back patio. But is it often reserved for weddings, banquets and Intel meetings?

Seems far for an Intel meeting, but they always have the back patio setup for banquets/weddings. Maybe it's a Thai cultural thing?
Amarin has the _worst_ Chicken Satay, btw

Folsom Blvd, Riley, and Greenback? Sounds like it should be a good location. Sure gets a lot of traffic. But yeah, I wouldn't call it a popular dining spot, but hey, if they're profitable?
