Since you're buying baby things, I guess it's coming along just fine?

Afraid to ask outright (for obvious reasons), but glad to see that it's really going to happen for you and Chris.

What have I missed? Have you announced the gender? Name?

That's great! You can get in a pink mood now! When's she due to make her appearance?

If ours had been a girl, she would have been Amanda Kay. Instead we got Zachary Lynn (his dad's middle name is Lynn). Kids are so much fun!!

Years before we had our son, a friend told me, "They're what life is all about." We had been married nearly 17 years when Zachary came along. I felt like I'd been inducted into the biggest least-secret club in the world, the club of parenthood. Then we got to do all the things that we'd forgotten were so much fun — circuses and parades come to mind. And Santa Claus.

Fun, fun, fun!

And adding a Babytrend walker to the mix. We got it on clearance from BRU for $20. Jocelyn just doesn't like it at all. She wants to be free like the wind!! Uhh, what? $10? Make us an offer.

Yep. We had it on our carpet exclusively. I just stopped Jesse on the hardwood so I could take a picture of it before he took it to the garage. It worked on our carpet.

Of course, you've see how low pile our carpet is. But it worked really well. I think it would be fine.
