... Clown to you may just be color to another and "acceptable neutrals" may be life without flavor to others.

thats deep It should be on a bumber sticker somewhere. Or we could adopt it as our Natoma Station official saying, maybe get sweatshirts or something.

Could be, I think NS subdivision is different. But who knows, our realtor didn't exactly give us correct information on the mello roos, so it wouldn't surprise me that she didn't give us the straight dope on the CC&Rs too.

No You are right- NONE Of the CCR's that are outside City Code Violations can be enforced in NS.
Even Barbara Leary of the former NSCO has stated to that effect. Best anyone can do is to send a letter that they dont like it - ... Unless it requires a city permit then they can petition the city to deny ..

so paint it purple with pink trim and no one can stop you...

I like to think that, if I had the money, I'd paint my house in very cool colors that would compliment the neighborhood and not detract. That said, it wouldn't be sand with vanilla trim.

I don't know about guard dogs, but i have two vicious cats that will claw the life out of someone who is not invited.

on a related note, if i come home and find that my house is in the process of being burglarized and i strangle the life out of the guy, would i be up for murder charges? when can i eliminate this scum and not get screwed for doing it?

Practice the phrase, "I was in fear of my life."

Strangulation is not a great way to dispatch a thief. There is this window between "passed out" and "dead" where you would be expected to stop this activity and dial 911.

Much better to use a blunt object until he stops moving, that window is much smaller.
