never enough of those...
BJ's seems to still have a crowd... and when I've gone there it seems to be 3 deep by the bar... haven't been there in a couple of months.. how are they doing with Ruby Tuesday next door...?

Funny story: Years ago, I went to the Foster City location for happy hour. It was about 4pm, and we sat at one of the tables kind of above the bar's dance floor, about 10 feet from the bar.
Biz was pretty slow, and a small group of employees stood at the end of the bar about 8 feet from me, laughing and talking. After about 10 minutes of being ignored, I leaned over the railing and said, "Excuse me, we'd like to order something."
One of the waitresses said, "That section's closed!"
The Folsom Black Angus had some of the worst service in the chain.

The bartender at BJ's told me Ruby Tue would close within 5 months. I think we heard this before but I would not doubt that it will happen.
BJ's is always busy. I guess medicore food + cool atmosphere is the winning combo here.

Does anyone know where in Oldtown this steakhouse will be located? Also is it the steakhouse that has a location in Chico? I can't remember the name but it was very good food and not chain related.

Absolutely. Whether one likes or hates a business, when it goes under it takes a major hit on the community with vacant buildings, out of work employees and vendors losing a customer and revenue source. It all trickles down into other parts of the community.
