See, each of the standout contestants on Britain's Got Talent at first fake out the judges--Susan by making them think she's some socially awkward wannabe William Hung with that "never been kissed" comment; Shaheen by initially going with the wrong song before being ordered by Simon Cowell to sing a more suitable Jackson 5 tune instead; Hollie by executing some dubious beginner-ballet-class recital moves.
But then these contestants open their mouths and sing, sing, SING...and the judges put on Emmy-worthy acting performances (or whatever the equivalent of the Emmy is over in the U.K.), bugging their eyes out, dropping their jaws to the floor, and pretending that they had no idea that the Brit before them actually had talent until this very televised moment. Puh-leeze.

BRITAIN'S Got Talent boss Simon Cowell believes Susan Boyle could become the biggest star he has ever discovered.
The talent show judge also said the Blackburn singer's success could even eclipse that of Paul Potts and Leona Lewis and added that she was guaranteed a record deal from someone even if she doesn't win the talent competition.
He reportedly said: "It's early days but Susan could become the biggest star I've ever discovered.
"She's got a real shot this year of doing something phenomenal for herself, probably more than she realises.
"I think every record label in the world would want to sign Susan right now. She is in a fantastic position."

Greg Pritchard: 'Britain's Got Talent' Reaches New Heights
When I first laid eyes on the latest buzzy Britain's Got Talent sensation, 24-year-old Welsh waiter Greg Pritchard, I sort of assumed he was the across-the-pond equivalent of Adam Lambert.
Greg definitely had the Lambert Look I wanted to know better: copiously product-placed hairdo, expertly applied guyliner, H&M black pleather, ambiguously androgynous rocker-boy image, and obvious natural charisma. I only hoped that he'd also have Adam's incredible vocal range.
Well, the bloke had range, all right:

Headline news: Punk rocker does Opera.
His talking voice is so deep compared to his singing voice, but I can't imagine that Simon would allow lip syncing on his show, so I have to presume the clip is real.

that was the strangest performance I've ever heard - that guy sounded exactly like a female opera singer. Simon summed it up perfectly when he said, it was like a dog "meowing", you didn't expect that sound from that guy
he and Adam Lambert should do a duet .... or date.

Respectifully disagree.
Sharheen Jafargoli or Susan Boyle.
Susan Boyle!
She shows us that we can keep believing, no matter what. That is true hope, and that is what this woman gave us when we finally allowed her star to shine.

Dream over: Boyle finishes 2nd in UK reality show
LONDON – She dreamed a dream, and it very nearly came true.
But Susan Boyle 's reality show journey finished Saturday with a second-place finish in the finals of "Britain's Got Talent," an ending that didn't fit the fairy tale. Instead of the 48-year-old internet sensation, an exuberant dance troupe called "Diversity" took the 100,000-pound ($159,000) prize and will perform for Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Variety Show.
Boyle paced around the stage as the hosts named the top three of the ten final acts, and looked almost relieved when her name was called as the runner-up. She recovered in time to graciously praise the dancers.
"The best people won," Boyle said. "They're very entertaining. Lads, I wish you all the best."
Boyle then curtsied several times to the audience, gave them her signature shimmy, and strolled offstage.
It had been a tumultuous week for Boyle, a woman previously unused to the limelight. She lost her cool during a confrontation with two reporters, and the police intervened. One contest judge said Boyle had contemplated pulling out of the competition to soothe her frazzled nerves
But when she stepped into the spotlight Saturday, Boyle seemed more polished — and animated — than in previous appearances.

The techno dancers come a dime a dozen. Just visit any street corner in LA, NY, or any corner in a metropolitan City.
Give me Susan any day. That is a performance!
Susan Boyle & Adam Lambert are REAL winners.
Boyle and Lambert — over time they will have more substantial showbiz careers than the rivals who beat them.
The name "Diversity" is a bore. Where do you think the techno dancers will be in five years?
I'm sure The queen would rather listen to Susan than this crap.
