Can I get the NEW without the bell peppers?

I like spicy peppers, but I hate the taste of bell peppers (I call them green ickies).

the above copied from the online menu

We can do that dish without bell peppers.

We can take special requests on about everything on our menu. We have no problem doing so.

We had one of our best Wednesday nights in a very long time tonight. But of course our lunch was very slow. It is never consistent.

Thank you for all of you that came in tonight. Thank you to our regulars!

We went last night - it was totally packed, with a wait to get a table. Good to see in this economy!

Food was good too. :-)

that's great to hear! I can second that they do requests. Sometimes the pork and veal dishes appeal to me and they will always substitute chicken if I ask. They also substitute veg for pasta, etc. And they are friendly about it too.

John, my wife and I were there too. We went in around 5:30 PM and the place was almost packed at that time. We had two great meals. A lot of the people in there was from the auto show outside in the parking lot. They had people waiting for tables when we left.

We sat next to the window and I thought I saw you there, but not sure. Was you there around that time?

I had a short chat with the owner while we were there.

We go down about every 3 months or so.

Thank you John for coming in. Wednesday night was great business but then Monday night we are very slow. (Sunday and Mondays kids eat free with each adult meal purchased).

I just received a new 2010 entertainment book today and we have a coupon in it once again. I have been disappointed with the past few years, but I was happy to see Manderes in there. Also in there is Black Rooster, El Rey, Kirala, Nuyo, Suishin Sushi and Q'bole! among several others and a bunch more mexican.

thank you again Folsom for your support.

Hi all!

We are still hanging in there. Lunches are still slow and it is mainly my husband and I working out front. I don't know if everyone knows about our $5.99 special lunch menu. We have a limited menu set for $5.99 and it includes a single serving of soup or our cafe salad. (and bread, of course!) I have had a lot of positive feedback on it. It is perfect for those of you on a budget or for those that like a light lunch. We also have our regular menu available and that comes with the refillable salad and soup. We are also offering the $5.99 menu on to go orders. Please call us for more information, we can also fax you a menu.

We have a great kids menu. $4.29-$5.29 and that includes a beverage. Kids eat free Sunday and Monday ( w/ each adult entree purchase).

Also, for you coupon lovers......we have coupons in the money mailer and we will have a new one coming out in the next penny saver and it will have a menu.

thanks again for your support!

Howdy Boys and Girls, I stopped into Strings yesterday and was quite surprised to see a few new items on the menu. I decided to try the new Osso Bucco they had........ Oh My Goodness... it was fantastic !!! Fall off the bone tender and the sauce and vegetables were a medly of pure ecstacy... I felt guilty so I brought 1/2 home for my Bride and she has the same opinion I do... Outstanding. I did get to meet Kim and she was very busy to say the least... Folks you should really get in and spoil yourselves with some great food at very attractive prices... I might just go back today...

thank you Carnivore for coming in and introducing yourself. I had quite a bit of regulars in yesterday while you were there. One customer has been coming in since we opened eight years ago. We also really appreciate new business.

Thank you for the post. I agree the Osso Bucco is great! it is one of my new favorites.

Kim
