WOW, keep spreading the hype and fear. Did you miss the part about the "patients with severe underlying conditions?" Or that this was not unexpected at all? Especially in patients with reduced immune systems?

Man, what a way to mis-lead. Here's some more about the FEAR for the untested vaccine:

Would it be more PC for you if it came with butterflies and bunnies...?

What specifically in the article I posted (BBC) was scary to you anyway???

I wish people like you would post more then just "it's untested" and actually give us some links that state what's untested about it verses the yearly flu vaccine that changes yearly. The vaccine was created in the same fashion they create those every-year and tested in the same way before going to public as far as I'm aware. So whats so scary about it???

Exactly...! Talk about your fear mongering...

This whole h1n1 is starting to unravel. European countries are not happy with this fake pandemic. Great Britain has downgraded their estimate of people dying from this flu from 36,000 to 1,000. CDC has said it looks like we might have hit the peak and are on the way down.

Can you cite some sources re Europe and U.K.?

I was feeling good about the news that it just passed the peak, until I read in the paper this morning that the CDC representative said, "Remember, that means that half of the people who will get sick from it, are still going to get sick before this wave is done."

Personal reports of battling the H1N1 flu do not make me feel better. My husband's workmate is home in bed with a 104 degree fever. My friend's daughter was about to be taken from urgent care to the hospital with a 104.9 degree fever, until it finally came down to a more "normal" 103. Since I have never in my adult life had a fever anywhere near 104 (probably not even 102), I can only imagine that this virus makes you feel pretty darn sick. sad.gif
