I thought they were already open...

if they are already open they aren't getting any business whatsoever, I drive by there several times a week and have never once seen any signs of life in there.

seems like such a waste of a good location.... I miss Big Dip.... at least they were open and serving some pretty good cheap burgers when they were there...

wish I could've bought that place and kept it going as a burger joint and fixed it up nice....

If you kept it as a burger place would you have kept the dipped ice cream cones?

Loved that plan and also wished it happened. Awesome burgers, beer, car\bike gatherings\shows, cones...

Another Mexican food outlet...not so much because Folsom has several.

It loks like they are doing a lot of work to La Rosa Blanca. I'm guessing maybe making it ADA compliant, plus possibly expanding. They have definitely NOT been open.

It's looks almost ready to open. But, what about the Big Dip sign? It's ugly, old, in desparate need of removal. Is there a reason why they left it? It makes the corner look so cheap.

I think I talked to code enforcement last time. Maybe it is time again.
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

I just drove past and they are now open. The former Big Dip sign was rotating but still blank, so maybe they have plans to renovate it and keep it turning. That would be a nice change!

Had lunch here, it was packed. Super packed. All inside tables used, and most outside tables used, and a handful of people getting stuff to go...

Super bright and colorful inside. It looks like a pinata filled with fake flowers and paint exploded. They walled in the counter area, and left a little pass-thru window. Looks good.

Food was predictably mediocre, not terrible, but not special. I did like the salsa for the chips though, but I would guess many would think it was too spicy.

I hope it does well.

I, too went there today.. looked over their menu for a considerable time and could not "pull the trigger" to actually order the food. I saw many people coming in and that was good to see, I did grab a to-go-menu and can get a more in-depth overview of their food and it's pricing. I don't mind spending money on (Very Good) food, but disdain spending money on mediocre food put out by many (JOINTS) in town or elsewhere..

Went for dinner last night, great! Had the shrimp (prawn) fajitas and they were fantastic! Great service, friendly people, vibrant atmosphere. Give this place a try!
